A close encounter with the giants
Between June and November, Humpback and Southern Right whales pass us on the whale highway along the Eastern Cape coast – and we take you out to meet them.
Our bay is also home to endangered Humpback dolphins and a resident pod of common dolphins that we see all year round. Keep an eye out for penguins, seals, seabirds and other marine life too.
Trips leave from Port St Francis – it’s a short boat ride to the whale sighting areas.
Our boats
We use two large, sturdy catamarans – Look Sharp and So Sharp – with walk-around decks and a maximum of 12 passengers each, so everyone gets a good view.
Every trip is run by a fully qualified, experienced skipper and guide. Join a mixed group, or ask about booking your own boat – large group discounts are available.

Booking & weather
Rates are R1,250 per person, based on a minimum of 4 passengers on the boat. A 50% deposit is required when you book – it’s fully refundable if the trip is cancelled because of bad weather or unsuitable conditions, or if you cancel at least 48 hours before your trip.
